Office Answers has grown over the past five years to provide a range of virtual office services for small businesses. Nearly all of our customers have less than five employees, and many are in start up phase, but they are all looking for services that give them a professional image.
I’m Ian Marshall, the founder of Office Answers, and before setting up Office Answers I had a career in telecoms with particular focus on flexible working, including 7 years at Vodafone and 2 years at Damovo, a spin off from Ericsson. Office Answers has been run on a day to day basis by my wife Clare while I have supplemented the family income with various consultancy projects in telecoms. Thanks to Clare’s great work in building the business we are in the fortunate position of Office Answers being able to support us both. This is giving us a chance to add some new virtual office services that we hope will be of interest to our typical customers.
We are encouraged that business has continued to grow even in the difficult economic climate. Virtual Office services allow people to set up in business and have a professional image without the expense or long term commitment to physical offices. As a result, we are continually adding new customers who want to make a start on their business idea, or want help with their existing business, but who need a cost effective solution without a long term commitment. Telephone answering, mail forwarding, fax to email etc are all services that meet this need. And over the next few months we hope to be adding to this range to offer an even wider range of virtual office services.
